Society of Friends of Sassoon Hospitals, or SOFOSH, was founded in 1964 by a group of public spirited citizens. The aim was to supplement the medical services provided by the hospital through a range of humanitarian services for crisis affected patients & their families, and to support the hospital itself by these providing much needed facilities.
