We have 2 properties based on your individual holiday needs that can help you achieve the perfect holiday in an idllyic village in Goa. Read further for some information on our smaller cabin and tree houses for rent on a daily basis or opt for a more functional fully equipped house in Corjuem.

Situated in the Village of Pomburpa, North Goa, the guest house of SiestaGoa comprises 4 accommodation options set on the slopes of a hill amidst greenery and a two-tiered pool, with stunning views across the valley.

If you are looking for accommodation in Goa that has that peaceful feeling of nature, is free from the hectic pace of the city of Panjim and the crowded tourist areas of Candolim and Baga, but which is still close enough to enjoy all that North Goa has to offer, then SiestaGoa is the place for you.

Choose from one of our uniquely designed tree-houses, head to the top of the hill for our tranquility cabin, or choose a more traditional room in the main guest house, your enjoyment and comfort is assured as each accommodation option includes double sleeping arrangements, full en-suite, and the use and enjoyment of the pool and relaxation areas.


Rent a fully functional home in a village:
This cozy Goan house offers you the serenity of authentic village life in Goa along with the amenities to ensure you can enjoy an easy holiday. We are a Goan couple that restored this house while capturing the essence of Goan Portuguese style architecture. By adding our own personal style to it, we have created a unique haven away from the usual hustle and bustle of regular tourism. This 2 bedroom house, each with its own attached bathroom/ toilet, can accommodate 4 people. In addition, there is an additional double sofa bed in the lounge if you wish to use it. There is also a loft attached to the master bedroom that can be used as a lounge area or another sleeping lounge.
It has a fully functional kitchen with a fridge, gas stove and electric hob, water purifier, hot water facilities, microwave, utensils, pots, pans and dishes. There is also a traditional well so you know you will never run out of water. The house has a washing machine for your use. There is a power back up as well for the house.
There is a quaint garden outside with two sets of verandas and a garden bench. You can choose your own lounge area to read, enjoy your morning cups of tea or coffee, laze with your favourite drink in the evening or just soak up the sun and the village around you.
Wake up to the sound of birds in the garden and enjoy the 5 minute walk to the old ferry boat jetty at the river side. Along this route you can easily catch a glimpse of the Corjuem suspension bridge. Walk in the other direction of the house for a minute and you reach a the beautiful Goan church of the village. Entertain yourself with amazing walks in the village which take you along river estuaries, mangroves and fields with little sluice gates that are used by the villagers.
There is a shop that caters to most of your everyday requirements less than 100 metres away and, if you want an evening snack, walk for 6-10 minutes and find a local stall selling mouth-watering Goan snacks. For authentic Goan food, esp the goan fish thali, eat at the local restaurant which is a 4 minute drive away.
There is an additional little cottage with a housekeeper and a watchman behind the main house. They can take care of the garden, cook meals, and clean the house if you wish to so engage them.
We also have as part of the household a cute little dog named Micah who is cared for by the onsite caretakers. She has an extremely affectionate and playful nature once she gets over her shyness. She gets along with other dogs, so if your pets are friendly and easy going with other animals, they are most welcome to join you on your holiday.
Corjuem is a mere 15 minute drive to the Mapusa city, another 25 minutes to the Baga- Calangute stretch of beach if you wish for a dose of late night restaurants and clubs. It’s about a 50 minute drive to or from the main airport in Goa, Dabaolim.
Spa treatments, like massages and manicures can be arranged at home if required for additional charges.
