Shantiniketan Polytechnic

Shantiniketan Polytechnic has started functioning from the academic year 2008-09. The polytechnic has it’s own spacious and modern building and is located in a quiet picturesque surrounding. The institute has well-equipped workshop and the various required laboratories have the desired equipment, to facilitate effective education. The “state of the art” library has ample number of suggested text and reference books as well. Internet facility is made available to all the students.

The polytechnic has experienced and knowledgeable teaching faculty. Successful entrepreneurs from the nearby industries are frequently invited, to share their valuable knowledge and experience with the students, and guide them.

Emphasis is laid on the overall personality development of the students, including inculcating the ability to communicate in English effectively. Individual attention is paid to all the students. The institute will promote proper training and placement activity. Reputed companies will be invited for conducting campus interviews.

Variety of cultural activities are organised throughout the year. We also make various sports facilities available to the interested students.

Various scholarships and concessions in fees, offered and awarded by Government of India and Maharashtra, like Merit scholarship, Category Based scholarship, Minority scholarship etc. to different categories of students like SC, ST, VJ, NT, SBC, OBC, EBC, Open, Wards of Teaching and Non Teaching Faculty, Handicapped Children, Wards of Ex Servicemen and Freedom Fighters etc. can be availed by the students of this polytechnic.

Navbharat Shikshan Mandal, an educational institute established during 1958, is the parent organisation behind the polytechnic.
