Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin Higher Secondary School is named after its benefactor Haji Gh. Rasool Hajini & his wife Shamali or Shahzada. Shahapa (Shamali) had cherished the idea of seeing an educational institution of a good repute established in the name of late Alhaj Master Gh. Rasool Hajini, who was an epitome of love and compassion, believing in the maxim of ‘leading by example’ and inspired everyone around him with his meticulousness, far-sightedness, empathy and largesse. An excellent teacher and an immaculate humanitarian was able to make a difference in the lives of people and teach them the true art of living. His life was an anthology of hard work, resilence, courage and never- say -die-spirit.
