Every place in the world has got one history or the other but there are very few places on the glove which have got very significant history behind them.SDA SHIV MANDIR is one of those places.It is very beautiful, peaceful and magnificient place which is known and called the land of 'BHOLENATH' the gegraphical, climatic and the peaceful atmosphere of this temple have attracted and have been attracting the natureloving people from the different parts of the world.

Sda Shiv Mandir is located in Una Distt. Una is situated on the southwestern part of the state of Himachal Pradesh. Like most of the towns of the state, Una is also tremendously beautiful town, with a number of places to visit, one who comes here wants to visit again and again because of the charm of this place and peaceful atmosphere.sda shiv mandir shows the exact meaning of the mandir .sda shiv means where shiv present every moment.

Many of these are quite well-known and attract thousands of devotees throughout the year.It is believed that if you ask something from the Devi with a true heart, your wish will be granted.

Dhayunsar hill is one of the famous hill in distt una of himachal pradesh because of having historical lord SHIVA temple on it is long the history of the great shiva temple is long before 5500 years in the period of maha bharata ,there was saint(rishi ) called dhemya was close ans well known to the pandva who while on his journey to diffrent religious places meditation very hard,and installed shivling on the top of the hill .lord shiva was happy and was impressed by the meditation of this saint and asked the saint "i promise you to take any thing from me" the saint requested that who so ever meditation around this dhayunsar hill, his wishes should be fulfilled .on this lord shiva promised to fullfill the disire and wishes of the meditators so from the ancient time people have been coming here and getting , their wishes fullfilled by lord shiva .

Swami onkar nand giri who renovated this sadashiv temple told that in1937 in the night when he was busy in the deep meditation on the bank of river ganga in the northen kashi area of utter pradesh he was lord shiva in the dream, who while standing near the cave underneath this hill directed him to meditate in this cave .there after he started his mission to search and to dis lover this cave and this temple at last .he reached una and there after village sohari with assistance of differnt people .in 1947 with the assistance of headmaster shri shiv prasad sharma of govt. high school sohari in distt. una he could reach out the same cave and the "sda shiv temple "

in fact it is the same place which was directed and shown to him by lord shiva in the dream .thereafter with the staying in the cave he had been meditating under the hill in 1948 he ronovated this temple with help and contribution of local other people.

This Society under construction but proving many facilities which includes

Dharamshala:-

For the tourist from far places, there is very good arrangement in the Dharmshala where approx 500 person can have their stay.

Parking:-

It is very beautiful,peaceful and magnificient tourist place connected with bus service from una and amb,with a great facility of parking.

Kirtan Hall:-

There is big kirtan hall in which around 7000 person can offer prayer together.

Langar Hall:-

The langar hall is also maintained with proper arrangement of utensils ans the food is served with love and affection. Daily Langar is served to Pilligrims who visit this holy Temple during the day and in the evening.

Hawan Building:-

There is a hawan building where the devoteed offer prayer and perform rituals. Mobile Network.

Fresh Rooms:-

Fresh rooms are also available at this temple. All facilities completed according to Society plans. Now, the society is making some plans regarding the development of Sda Shiv Mandir and some other activites in the future.

is Located in Una district, Himachal Pradesh. The temple is situated on one of the highest Hill. It is about 16 km far from Baruhi village which is located on the Delhi - Dharmashala road. This road is part of the State Highway network and is normally kept in good repair.Una is a district of Himachal Pradesh which lies in its south western part.
