Mr. Lad understood and realized the strong and loving relationship between farmers and their cattle. He came up with a remarkable idea of giving cows and buffaloes to villagers of his Kalghatgi constituency. The Congress MLA has distributed 10,000 cows and buffaloes to poor and landless families. His goal is to serve all the poor families of his village. He is doing everything to help them enter into the dairy business, even planning to set up a mini dairy on the lines of the Karnataka Milk Federation in the area.

He also aims to appoint veterinarians to take care of the cattle and set up a fodder bank to provide nutritious feed to the cattle. He declares “I want to encourage self-employment, developing Kalghatgi constituency is my only motto”. He has also distributed admission fees and scholarships to over 4,000 deserving students. He is an amazing personality who always follows his heart and fulfills dreams of people.
