RVS School of Architecture Coimbatore

The faculty comprising of highly qualified Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors in the fields of Architecture, Planning, and Fine Arts, is ably headed by the Director, Prof. M. Raajkumar possessing twenty-seven years of professional experience.
The regular teaching process is supplemented with case studies of live examples for Architectural Design Projects and regular interaction with practicing architects, both in the form of guest lectures and continuous assessment of the Design Studio. Students are also encouraged to acquire student membership of the Indian Institute of Architects, so as to interact in the programmes organized by the IIA-Coimbatore Chapter.
In the last two years, Study tours to Auroville, Bangalore, and Chennai have provided extensive exposure to contemporary architectural practices. The Rural Design Studio in the Second year witnessed a weeklong visit to Kotagiri to study and document the character of traditional architectural practices prevailing there.
Regular participation in the trophies and competitions organized by NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture) has helped students to hone their talents and interact with the vibrant architecture student community.
