RSWPL was incorporated in August 2009. It was initially named as Rendezvous Cricket Management Pvt. Ltd. and soon renamed itself in March 2010 as Rendezvous Sports World Pvt. Ltd. (RSWPL)

The company is primarily involved in promoting sports in India and across the globe. It is a sports management company with cricket academy at Solapur, Maharashtra.

On 21 March 2010 RSWPL won the bid for exclusive franchising rights for team Kochi for the hottest sports league in the world, Indian Premiere League for the year 2011 and on-words.

We Rendezvous Sports World Pvt Ltd are the authorized Franchise Owner of IPL Kochi Tuskers Kerala Team.
