Rao Jodhaji founded Jodhpur (Marwar) in The year 1453 A.D, his grandson "Rao Udaji" , who was a sovereign ruler of Nimaj and Jaitaran, founded the sub-clan popularly known as Udawat Rathores. It is one of the best heritage hotels in pali Rajasthan. Nimaj Was later amalgamated with Jodhpur. Rawala Bagh is owned by this branch of the Rathore clan of Rajputs. Rawla Bagh is the heritage hotels in Rajasthan that was built by Thakur Chattar Singh Ji in the year 1876.
