Ratnagiri Education Society

This institution was founded in the year 1933 by the then renowned Advocate Late J.V.alias Baburao Joshi. At present Ratnagiri Education Society is successfully running over eighteen schools, colleges, vocational and professional training institutions under its illustrious spectrum. The R.E. Society has created an enviable position of itself through its monumental efforts in the field of education. Now the institute is catering the needs of more than 14,000 students in different streams of education.

One of the leading colleges in Konkan region, R.E.Society’s Gogate Jogalekar College was established in June 1945. In the year 2014 Gogate Jogalekar College has been re accredited in the 3rd cycle by NAAC, Bangalore and awarded “A” Grade. The University Grant Commission has honoured Gogate Jogalekar College by placing in the list of the 100 best colleges.
