We Care for babies in our NICU
Who are born prematurely, gestation 27 weeks +, weight 850gm and more who are critically ill
(sepsis/respiratory distress/ birth asphyxia/ Meconium aspiration syndrome/ jaundice/NNEC). Size and volume matter in a NICU because research shows that babies treated in hospital with highly experienced staff who treat the most babies have better outcomes. That’s because no matter how complex a premature or sick a baby might be, we have likely seen it and treated it before.
