OOR - Abraham's Homeland Integrated Support Systems for Healthy Ageing

Located in Mallappally, a small Central Travancore town in the Pathanamthitta district of the south Indian state of Kerala, OOR is a haven of comfort and calmness, providing one an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Mallappally stands on the State Highway 9, and has two railway stations (Tiruvalla and Changanacherry) within its 12 km radius. The nearest airport is Cochin, around 100 km away.

A relatively new concept which assumes much relevance around the world, assisted living is the fastest growing long-term-care option for seniors now. This has gained significance around a decade back in Kerala. With most of the younger generation moving away for jobs, elderly and retired people in the Central Travancore region of Kerala face pressing needs: proper care takers, domestic help, quick access and assistance to hospitals, or even shopping for their daily needs – all these become ordeals for them.

OOR was born as an answer to this challenge.
