OCCUPY AIR

Air pollution is on the rise in India. The pollution levels in our cities has started impacting our childrens' health - one of the most vulnerable group.

We researched and found that we are living in gas chambers ! We realised over the years that pollution is on the rise in India (not only in Delhi but in all major cities and towns). Unfortunately, the information is not disseminated effectively to the public. Thanks to media in the recent times, slowly the awareness is building up.

We also realised through the course of research that there is NO immediate short term solution to India’s air pollution issues. Years and decades of policy, process and people failures cannot be overturned easily.

What is our option then? Do we continue to breathe hazardous air and risk the lives of our children? We cannot rob our children of their childhood – they need to go to school, play outside etc etc.

An immediate solution is to get anti pollution devices & masks. But, from a long term we need to raise our voices and awareness levels, so there is clean air for our children to breathe.

Thus, started OCCUPY AIR to RECLAIM THE little LUNGS !!!
