Northern Railway Inter College

The School was initially established as a NCC centre and ammunition house in 1878 by Britishers. Later around 1882, it had been converted into Primary School for British Officer's children.

This school has been named Northern Railway Inter College as it is funded by the Indian Railway and Tundla was in the Northern Railways. Later after the zonal creation, it has been again named North Central Railway College as it comes in the North Central Zone of Railway.

Northern Railway Inter College is Senior Secondary School. It has a very wide campus of almost 65 acres. It currently imparts education from Ist to XIIth. The institute offers programmes in Arts, Commerce, Home Science and Science.

The campus has retained and increased its green cover, rich in flora and fauna. All departments and laboratories are housed on the campus. The campus has an Auditorium, Computer Centre and Sporting Facilities.
