Late Sri. Jageswar Prasad Barai is the founder of Chourasia Dairy Product. He was inspired by the American Ice-Cream "MAGNOLIA" ,which use to visit Asansol from Calcutta (Kolkata) , thus in 1938 he Started the very 1st Ice-Cream Product In Asansol which was well appreciated by every-one. He bought a Compressor Namely"FREEZEDIAR" from Refrigerator India Limited in Kolkata for rupees 1800/-. That time the Brand Name was "DELICIOUS ICE-CREAM" which today turn into "Mellow".

The company which started in 1938 is still a trusted name in Asansol and around. Sri Naresh Prasad has started various new products according to the time and demand and is smoothly going on with the same Inspiration which his Grand-Father
had.
