This Facebook page will cover all the cricket related events that have been and will be, in the future, organized and conducted at the MCA International Stadium.
Starting with the IPL in 2012, there has been a packed schedule of cricket games all through-out the year and it continues to be so.
It is our endeavor, at the MCA, to organize and conduct every single game to the best of our ability so as to have our cricket supporters and patrons enjoy each game whole heartedly.
The IPL, held in the month of April-May every year (5 seasons so far) and with Pune entering the IPL with it's own team (Pune Warriors and Rising Pune Supergiants), the action and excitement has gone up a few notches. As the latest happening, the Supergiants played eleven IPL games at the Stadium and we covered all the fun and excitement with the help of text updates, colourful and artistic creatives and pictures as also made it more interactive for our patrons.
As a significant highlight, the IPL 2016 was followed by a One Day International (ODI) between India and England that the home team won after a wonderful fightback. Up next was the first ever Test match in Pune that was played between India and Australia. India lost the game but went on to win the series and thereby, the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
The IPL 10 was next and our home team Rising Pune Supergiant finished brilliantly narrowly missing out on the title. Up next is the ODI between India and New Zealand on October 25 2017 and that too promises to be a cracker of a contest !!
