The name ‘Marrakesh’ comes from the land of Morocco which rightly means ‘The Land of God’. Until a few decades ago Morocco itself was known as kingdom of Marrakesh.

Marrakesh city has the largest traditional market in Morocco and also one of the busiest squares in the world. The square bustles with the acrobats, story tellers, water seller, dancers and musicians during the day. By night it turns into food stalls becoming a huge open air restaurant.
