Malegaon Fair

This is the location where the ancient Malegaon Yatra is held annually. This Yatra reflects one aspect of rich cultural heritage of India. Lakhs of people gather to worship Khandoba Maharaj the deity at the temple. There are some tribes who meet once in an year at this yatra and discuss various issues related to their society etc.
This event generally held for about 10 days during winter season.
SCZCC Nagpur has been holding cultural shows through the artists from different parts of India which is being appreciated by one and all.
It is about 45 Km's from Nanded.

Malegaon is situated in Loha Taluka. The village is famous for a very big fair held in honour of Lord Khandoba. This big fair namely “ Malegaon Yatra ” is held in Margashirshvadya 14 (Dec/Jan). Malegaon is situated at a distance of about 57 km from Nanded. The fair is famous for its animal market. At the time of the Fair horses, asses, camels etc. are brought in large numbers. Lakhs of people visit the Fair.
