The village was constructed in return for the bravery act of the Villagers. 200 years ago two decoits name, Bhartia and Bhoptia, used to harrase the people by robbery and assossination. People of this village played major role in catching them and handed over to the local ruler. For this bravery act of the people, the ruler offered to construct a houses in around present Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. But the people rejected this offer and requested for costruction of a separate new village. Accordingly, the rulers constructed this village and named it as Madeena Pally, which later became Madanpally.
