RULES FOR ADMISSION
1. Please note that there are limited seats (25) in each class. Admission will be grant strictly based on entrance test and the interview.
2. Completion of the application form does not necessarily guarantee admission.
3. The following documents are to be submit with the application form: transfer Certificate, Report card and Character Certificate of the last school attended along with the Birth Certificate.
SCHOOL FEES
Once a student admitted and registered no refund of fee will made other than the security deposit. If applicable, please note any student under the category of 3rd child, scholarship students, Shikshalaya family (teaching and non teaching staff) must pay for computer, e-class and extra activities for the entire session along with the annual fee.
CHILD CARE CENTRE
Children above the age 18 months (as of Baishakh 1st) of each academic session are eligible for admission. The Care Centre provides an environment for children to engage in constructive playing activities and other similar learning techniques thereby assisting the children to learn to enjoy being in school. Admission to this playgroup remains open throughout the year.
DISCIPLINE
We believe in discipline and firmness. Disobedience, rude behavior, disrespect to teachers and fellow students, stealing or extortion of money or contempt of authority will be strictly dealt with. The school reserves the right to Expel the student found violate or deliberately neglecting the code of conduct of Lumbini Shikshalaya. Discipline is the Ornament and supporting element of student’s life.
EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES
Through membership in the four intramural houses, the students have the opportunity to complete in several activities such as Debate, Impromptu/spontaneous Speech, Poem recitation, Elocution/ voice production, Essay writing, Singing, Dancing, Acting etc.
Skill learning activities are reinforcing through Club activities. Lumbini shikshalaya’s club consists of Art, Dance, Music, Needlework, Fabric painting, Computer, Science, Home science, Chess, Scout, Drama, Yoga, Swimming, Lumbini Eco Club Nepal (Environment etc.).
The school enforces the above by Professional coaches in basketball, Football, Acting, Swimming, Music and Dance. Playing courts are available for Basketball, Badminton and Table Tennis. Physical activities in the open air are an integrate part of this Shikshalaya’s program. All students have to participate in the organized physical activities unless there is sound reason not to.
In addition to these actitivities, Lumbini offers enhanced training and courses in various musical instruments including, Guitar, Violin, key board, singing and dance, Art and Craft, Gardening, Swimming, karate yoga etc and more.
EXCURSION AND FIELD VISIT
Students are taken out for Educational Excursion and organized visit to places of historical value and /or to relevant places of classroom learning.
