It is a monthly news paper published by Lovely Professional University to reach out to its students and staff, it incorporates literature- both technical and artistic. It covers different sections from news, articles, poems, puzzles, general knowledge to quizzes etc. It is a platform which gives an opportunity to students and staff to exhibit their literary interest.

It is a mode of communication that serves many diverse functions, such as offering a variety of entertainment to the students, communicating news and information of university.

Lovely World was started because the University aims to create a powerful medium that will play a significant role in providing information to students, shaping their opinions and beliefs, and disseminating correct information and knowledge of universities’ affairs with a huge responsibility on its shoulders. In the current liberalized environment that is characterized by information and knowledge, it is required that university has its own newspaper to communicate with the Students and the faculties as well as their family. Such dissemination of news, views, and other information will have far-reaching effects on students and staff as well as their relatives. When talented students will work with the newspaper they will learn to act in a more accountable manner. Their participation will increase their knowledge, their sources of information, and inspire them to inculcate a feeling of responsibility toward their own self and their society. Print media is a very powerful mode of communication, so we think that students will get information as well as they develop their skill which enhance their talent and personality .
