Over the short period of 7 years this college has achieved an identity mainly due to its focus on the uplift of the society. Brief description about the Institution:
K.M.C.T Polytechnic College, a tip top professional college under the roof of Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust formally came into existence on the dawn of 11 October 2004. Since then, the Institution has grown and expanded steadly so much so that it is not only the largest in the self financing sector in Kerala but one of the biggest in the country.

Mission:

To develop world class technicians to materialize the dream of our Late Prime minister, Sri Jawaharlal Nehru to make our mother land a powerful, prosperous and welfare state. A major obstacle to achieve this objective is the short supply of technicians and engineers and hence this humble endeavor. Being a charitable Institution, it is our responsibility to transit technical education facility at arms length of the downtrodden thousands of our country. It will be a boon to them.
