Karmantik is an enterprise that collaborates with cobblers to create handcrafted footwear.

Started by two Young India Fellows, Apoorva Kamat and Sruthi Kande, Karmantik aims to deliver the most exquisite, pair at your doorstep! Our vision is to foster sustainable livelihoods, revive craft and build skills of the shoe-making community in India.

Karmantik's collection consists of limited edition footwear using faux leather and fabric curated from different weavers and artisans across India.
The footwear is truly 'Handcrafted for your Sole'. The products are unique, well-cushioned and are lined with comfort.

A little bit about the founders -

Apoorva Kamat is a triple major graduate from Christ University, a Gandhi Fellow with an experience of working in the tribal belt of Rajasthan and a Young India Fellow. She indulges in illustrating and playing Ultimate Frisbee apart from involving herself with Karmantik.

Sruthi Kande is a triple major from St. Francis College, Osmania university, an ex - Google India employee and a Young India Fellow. She invests her energies with origami and fine art in her spare time.
