K E Board's Higher Secondary School

Karnatak Education Board was founded by Diwan Bahadur Shri Shrinivasrao Rodda & his friends in 1919 with the purpose of imparting school education of high quality to the children of Dharwad. Shri Rodda an eminent educationist of those times was also instrumental in persuading the British Government to establish School and College in Dharwad.
The K.E.Board commenced its activities by starting Karnatak High School in the Fort area of Dharwad in 1919 in a rented building and then K.E.Board's Higher Secondary School in the year 1936.
