Jungli Jaigad Trek

Basic Info: Jungli Jaigad fort is located near Koyna Lake. Beware of Wild animals as this fort is located in a dense forest. This is the most beautiful fort that we have seen so far.

Routes: From Koyna Nagar one has to go to the village Navja which is the base village for this fort. The locals can guide you on the route to the top of this fort.
Difficulty Level and Other useful tips:
Difficulty level is Moderate.
Height from sea level is 2957 feet.
Beware of wild animals/creatures [especially scorpions and snakes]

Ideal Time for Jungli Jaigad Trek: Ideal time for trekking to Jungli Jaigad would be during the winter season. The natural beauty of this fort is just breath taking. If you are lucky you could also get to see a lot of wild animals and birds in the surrounding areas of this fort.

NOT IDEAL for camping due to the presence of wild animals and other poisonous creatures.
