India Pentecostal Church of God, Shillong, Meghalaya- IPC Shillong

Shillong is often referred to as the "Scotland of the East" due to its striking similarity with the Scottish Highlands. Shillong has been one of the important tourist destinations of the North East. The city derives its name from "Leishyllong" – God is rsiding in Shillong. . Lying in the cradle of the tall pine conifers and pineapple shrubs, Shillong's undulating terrain is a constant source of attraction for tourists from both home and abroad. Tough Shillong consists of many churches, Indian Pentecostal Church of God, SHillong is the only Malayalam Pentcostal Church in SHillong. It is situated at Laitumkhrah, almost 3 Kms from Shillong City and nar to Nazrth Hospital. Our Mission is to winning the lost for the Christ.


Pr. James Chacko serves as the Senior Pastor of IPC Hebron Church. After getting a clear vision from God he resigned his secular job and dedicated himself with family for the Full Time Ministry. He is also a council member of of IPC council and Prsident of IPC Meghalaya State. He also dedicates himself to facilitate the development of healthy, vibrant and self-sustaining communities by addressing larger issues of education, food security, potable water, employment projects in various parts of remote villages in Assam and among tribals areas in North East. His vision is to strengthen the bond of love of Christ and charity to endowed the poor and marginalized with economic independence, social dignity, cultural and spiritual awareness through worship and works. Lord is using him in many ways in and outside India.
