Purnia is the most socially, economically and educationally backward district of Bihar (India) having a thick population of Muslim Minority Community reeling under poverty and illiteracy. This attracted the attention of our trustees and finally this technical institute was established in 1999. The foundation stone of the building was laid down by His Excellency the Governor of Bihar Dr. A. R. Qidwai in presence of fifth Ameer-e-Shariat Hazrat Maulana Abdur Rahman Saheb, Quazi Saheb, present Ameer-e-Shariat Maulana Syed Nizamuddin Saheb and thousands of others in 1998. A beautiful building was constructed with the financial assistance of IDB, Jeddah, housing therein the trades of instrument mechanics, Welder, Fitter, Electrician, Electronics and Computer trades are to be added from the next session.
We are thankful to late Muzaffar Hussain Iraqi of Gulab Bagh, Purnia who provided his valuable land near zero mile of Purnia town beside Purnia-Araria road for the institute. As desired by Quazi Saheb a hospital and a residential school are also to be constructed there. A beautiful big mosque is also within the campus which has been constructed with liberal financial assistance of Dr. Farooque Saheb (Himaliyan Drugs) and some other brothers. Here too all the trades are recognized by the N.C.V.T and trainees are admitted under the same process.
