IFFCO eBazar Ltd. is a 100% owned subsidiary of IFFCO, the Indian Fertiliser major having 1/3rd share of total market share in India. IeBl is an initiative to modernise sale of agricultural inputs and other services in the hinterland.
To provide agricultural products and some basic services to the farmers, IFFCO eBazar is opening retail outlets at the district and village level with the brand name of IFFCO Bazar. These centres are giving Indian farmers a platform that meet their requirement and also fulfil their needs.
These centres are one stop shops for the farmers. They provide agricultural inputs like Seeds, Fertilisers, Pesticides, etc as well as some essential services like Health Checkup, Soil Testing and Micro ATMs at reasonable cost under one roof to the farmers. From computerized billing to POS machine, our centre has everything which a modern retail store in a city has. Our aim is to give the experience of modern retail store to the famers of country.
IFFCO eBazar is a unique concept that aims to bridge the gap between aspirations of rural consumers and the corresponding availability of products. It caters the need of Indian farmers by providing them everything they need to do farming activities.
One year back, Dr. Udai Shankar Awasthi, honorable Chairman of IFFCO eBazar Limited inaugurated first retail store – Famers service centre, with an assortment of more than 59 products across 9+ categories.
Today we are one of the largest agricultural inputs retailer in the country with 154 stores across India and the number of stores is projected to expand to more than 400 by the end of 2017-18 financial year. Our plan is to expand our products portfolio and services to become a rural hypermarket in the next couple of years.
