Indian Dental Association(IDA) is the professional organization working for the betterment of Dental Professionals & Profession at large. As a member of I.D.A. every one of us bound to observe and sincerely follow the code of ethics, justifying our sacred Profession. So we have to undertake much responsibility to raise the image of I.D.A. Nothing can be achieved single handedly, With your active support & participation, in each and every activities and programs of I.D.A, we can raise the image of I.D.A. We are confident that all of you will extend tour full Co-Operation in organizing, participating and making the programs a grand success.
May i be permitted to take this golden opportunity of enlightening you with fine growth and development of I.D.A. in Andhra Pradesh. Our association in AP had started with a humble beginning and as on today achieved an active position in the national map of IDA. Slowly year by year the association developed with leaps and bound’s and the present we have 18 local branches with total membership of 1752.
To strengthen our association we have to strive hard to enroll all the dental surgeons as members. Now a days each and every activity is having its own association either big or small for their development individually or collectively. So I invite all the members to better utilize the services to solve their various problems pertaining to the profession and to achieve service program also with the help of I.D.A.
The main objective of I.D.A.;
1) To be actively involved and help in the Promotion, encouragement, and advancement of the dental and allied sciences.
2) To encourage the I.D.A. members to undertake measures for the improvement public Oral health and dental education in India.
3) To maintain the dignity and honor of the dental Profession.
4) To Protect the right and interest of members of Association.
5) To foster friendship, Co-Operation and Co-existence among the members of the Association.
6) To guide the young budding dentists. It will be highly appreciated if all the members put forth their views, ideals and suggestions with regards to the programs being organized.
