HMS Islamia Inter college, Etawah,UP

The school was promoted to High School in the year 1900.Later in July 1944, the school obtained recognition from the Board as Intermediate College. Dr. Zakir Husain stayed & studied six years here during 1907-1913 & completed his matriculation from this school.
The college feels proud of its distinguished alumnus, Dr. Zakir Hussain, an eminent educationist who rose to the prestigious position of President of India. To name a few other alumni, Professor Habibul Rahman who established several training colleges across India, Dr. Mehmood, Ex Minister of External affairs Govt. of India,(1954-1957). Raja Parmanand, Ex minister of Govt of Uttar Pradesh, Mr K. Asif, a famous film producer and director, Mr Azim Beg Chughtai famous urdu writer, Mr. Mushfiq, I.A.S. & Ex-Dev.
