COURSES :
Hope Academy of Theology & Sciences (HATS) offers courses & programs and is autonomous in its structure & accreditation. A well balanced curriculum with the variety of courses have been designed to give broad exposure to develop effectiveness in ministry as well as spiritual maturity. On successful completion of various courses, students would have learnt how to live out their knowledge, to see their theology and practice outworking itself in their own life and in the lives of others. The coursework aim to equip you in theological & non-theological disciplines with the theological and other understandings and skills needed to apply a Christian perspective and commitment to your life in the world, including your spiritual and vocational life.

#1. Certificate in Theology + Certificate in Office Systems.
The Certificate in Theology is designed with a specific balance of units that is intended to develop the foundational Biblical knowledge, English Language studies, ministry skills and character of the students so they are ready to serve in the area God has called them. The Christian maturity and knowledge of the Bible gained during this brief time will prove invaluable as these students move into other colleges and professions.

#2. Bachelors in Theology + Diploma in Office Systems.
Bachelor of Theology provides a rich academic and practically integrated program that equips students for a lifetime of ministry and enables them to be an effective trainer of others. The Bachelor of Theology is a three year full time or 130 credit hour course. By the end of this course students will have systematically and comprehensively studied Bible and theology through a structured and progressive course of study.


OFFICE SYSTEMS PROGRAM
The purpose of this program is to prepare individuals for career ministries as office professionals in churches, Christian schools, social agencies, mission offices, or other organizations. This program also provides students with relevant courses in general studies. We offer autonomous programs leading to Certificate in Office Systems & Diploma in Office Systems. The primary focus at HATS always will be on Theological studies. Apart from the curriculum for the Certificate & Diploma program, we also impart every student at HATS, modules on Basic Health Science, Basic Home Science, Personality Development, Social Work Modules, Special Skill Development (SSD) in Mobile Repairing, Handicrafts or Tailoring etc. The short modules of SSD training at HATS give each Students tools & platform for further & future systematic skill training.

Admission is open for Men, Women & Families from the Assemblies.

ASSEMBLY DISTINCTIVE:
HATS is administered locally by the leadership at Hope Believers (Brethren) Assembly, Bhopal. A vital and integral part of our HATS program is regular attendance at a local Assembly. Each student is required to attend services at Hope Believers (Brethren) Assembly, unless the student is preaching for another congregation or the student obtains permission to attend another local Assembly nearby.

At HATS, as well as nurturing students for their own growth and ministry, we empower and equip them with the tools and skills to train and develop others in their faith and ministry. Embedded in our training are the following three core components that we believe are essential in preparing our students for a life of serving Christ.

We aim at providing students with the opportunity to come to encounter the living God. Knowing God personally in a living and core relationship with Him. The experience through worship, prayer, College life, and through having a solid understanding of his revelation to us in Scripture. Students will also be taught to interpret God’s Word faithfully and theologically.

HATS provides constant opportunities for the training to impact the students’ lives, so that they are not only informed but transformed to reflect more of Christ’s character. This occurs through the course content, the College community life and practical involvement in Assembly ministry.

#3. Engage (Serving with Love):
We prepare students for a Biblical ministry. This enables them to view people with eyes of faith, to offer themselves in authentic relationship and service, to understand the reality of this world, and to engage the world with God’s love. Students are equipped to be effective communicators of God’s truth in many contexts and given the relevant practical skills for a life of ministry.
