Green Wings Pre-School Educational Network

In the year 2010, we have started our small set up of Montessori & Day care with intention to educate in a way of conventional education combined with standardized approaches. The methods are most suited to a child who needs individual attention & require focused concentration on abstract concepts. The environment is designed to inspire children to learn by themselves. There are lots of activities that would require them to move about inside the classroom for maximum independent learning and exploration. The children are not ranked and no honors are given to best performing students because the children are taught to compete with themselves and not with others. The focus is more on collaborative learning rather than competition.
In 2010, my Academic session started with 2students from the month July. Lots of apprehensions were all around me, whether I could compete my Play home with my fellow Montessori’s. But believe me, I never felt insecure. Rather, I am occupied every moment to improve more, to be more innovative, to be competent with the kids and learn from them too.
