Godavari Information Technology Association

GITA is a registered body, representing the software industry in twin Godavari districts under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act. The Association represents the interests of the IT, ITES and Software Products Industry, both Domestic & Export Oriented units in Twin Godavari Districts.

Achievements:

• GITA has been enlisted as one of the members of the Standing Executive Board of STPI Hyderabad (SEB) for effective coordination to promote IT Industry in AP. (Vide Ref No: STPI/308 Admin/0600000/18057 dated 01-03-2005)
• GITA has been in the IT &C Dept. of Govt. of AP Committee on the various incentives that are decided for the promotion and growth of IT Industry in AP.
• GITA members have meet once in quarter in the year for discussion and counseling on the various issues relating to the Member units
