Gangeya

The Holy River Ganges is the national river of India, endowing it with the most fertile plains of the world. Mother Ganges is not only a river but a synonym for pure and holy water and an epitome of a whole civilization. Its glory and sacredness transcends beyond every known boundaries.

Since time immemorial she has been cradling the Indian Civilization as well as its Philosophies. Being revered as a goddess, she draws millions of people with the belief that a dip in its pristine and holy water would redeem them from their sins and liberate their souls.

However with time and increased human interventions, the sacred river Ganges "Maa Ganga" today lies on her deathbed. It no longer contains the pristine water. The immaculate water has been replaced by polluted water. All forms of pollutants including mortal remains of human beings are scattered into the river. The urbanization cum industrialization has periled our mother Ganges to the deathbed.

We the "GangaPutras" have taken the vow to protect her and our mother nature along with promotion of Sustainability and Knowledge.

Everyone in our organization is a GangaPutra as we treat the Holy River as our Mother. So anyone with the vow to protect the Ganges, Earth and Nature is a GangaPutra.
