Footloose Trekkers encourages you to trek, travel and tour and to free yourself of your worries, tensions and problems behind especially during this period so that you get refreshed and re-energized to deal with them when you return..

“Mai Akela Hi Chala Tha Manzil-e-Janib Magar; Log Saath Aate Gaye Aur Caravan Banta Gaya”..
meaning that, I was walking alone towards my destination. However, en-route people joined me and soon a Caravan was formed..

When I started Footloose Trekkers in 2012, my sole idea was to promote amongst everybody unmindful of their age, sex or status in life the love for nature, for adventure and for trekking and to be of whatever assistance I can be to anybody and everybody who seeks information on treks and trekking.. I organize and conduct the treks and activities professionally and responsibly and not commercially and I certainly don’t view it as my bread and butter.. Earning a profit is not the aim of Footloose Trekkers which is involved in promoting adventure tourism.. I aim to be of fruitful assistance to anybody and everybody who comes to me for information on treks, adventure activities, etc..

Footloose Trekkers is my banner, an organization which is run purely out of my love for nature, adventure and trekking.. Aim of Footloose Trekkers is to enable it to run it on a no-profit and no-loss basis.. At Footloose Trekkers information, tips and suggestions are made available free-of-cost on the basis of the knowledge, experience and information I have gathered myself during all these years of adventure activities.. Additionally, Footloose Trekkers organizes and conducts fixed date departure treks all over India including various parts of Himalayas and especially to Annapurna Base Camp and Mt. Everest Base Camp in Nepal.. Footllose Trekkers believes in organizes treks at reasonable costs and even on shoe-string budgets.. Footloose Trekkers organizes treks including planning and charting detailed itineraries, providing information about treks, etc.. Footloose Trekkers charges only a nominal guide fees from each participant of treks conducted by it as a token for efforts taken by it for organizing and conducting the entire trek..

In May, 2011, I trekked solo all the way from Jiri to Mt. Everest Base Camp and flew out of Lukla on return journey.

In May, 2012, 5 people including me participated in the trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp organized by me.. For a variety of reasons, only two people including myself could make it to the Mt. Everest Base Camp and remaining three had to return back from mid-way. The arrangements for porters, lodges, flight reservations from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, etc. were all managed by Footloose Trekkers.

In May, 2013, Footloose Trekkers organized the ‘Mt. Everest Traverse Trek’ or ‘the Three Passes Trek’ in which 4 ladies and 3 guys, including two Americans who were “friends of friends” and were referred to Footloose Trekkers participated. The group travelled and trekked together for about 20 days and successfully crossed the Kongma La (5,535 mtrs / 18,139 ft), Cho La (5,420 mtrs / 17,782 ft) and Renjo La (5,465 mtrs / 17,929 ft) which are the three high passes in Mt. Everest Region and also trekked to the Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,364 mtrs / 17,598 ft); Kala Patthar (5,550 mtrs / 18,208 ft) and Gokyo Ri (5,357 mtrs / 17,575 ft). The participants trekked together as a group of “Free Individual Trekkers”. The itinerary, arrangements for porters, lodges, flight reservations from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, etc. were all managed by Footloose Trekkers. All this was done at a cost which was substantially lesser than the amount which is charged by other commercial trekking agencies who are into it for making a profit out of it.
