For the first time in MNIT, FILM CLUB s established tr grow interest of students in film making. It would be a platform for students to make short films/documentary films and to learn the basic art and techniques of visual story telling, digital video production and digital editing. In FILM CLUB there would be screening of the films which would not be otherwise shown in the mainstream cinema. It would introduce new audiences to different audio visual works through an organized and prepared program of screenings.
A common feature that may characterize a film club screening is that they either begin with an introduction of the film to the audience and/or end with the promotion of a debate /discussion about the film, where assistants, organizers and sometimes the filmmakers themselves, exchange their views.
