Dr.Samuel George Institute of Engineering & Technology (Dr.SGIET) an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution with JKC Star Status was Established in 1997 at Markapur to sharpen, to shape and to meet the global trends by impartning the values; ethics and true culture in technical education and is the First Engineering college in Prakasam district. Under the aegis of NCCSA. The College is Approved by AICTE; New Delhi Affiliated to JNTU Kakinaka.
