Pizhichil :- is considered a particularly special treatment in Ayurveda. In this treatment lukewarm herbal oils are squeezed all over the body, by two to four therapists, continuously in a special rhythmic way for about 60 to 90 minutes each day. This treatment is done on a special table made from a single piece of Strychnous Nuxvomica wood.

Navarakizhi (7-21 Days)
Navarakizhi :- is a type of sudation process in which the whole body, or any specific part there of, is made to perspire by the external application of certain Navara (medical) rice puddings, in the form of boluses tied in muslin bags, dipped in a mixture of warm milk and decoctions. It is applied as appropriate by two to four therapists for about 60 to 90 minutes each day.

Sirodhara (7 - 21 Days) :-
“SIRO” means head and “DHARA” means flow of liquid. In Sirodhara, specially prepared medicinal oils and medicated buttermilk are poured on the forehead in a special rhythmic manner for about 30 to 45 minutes per day.

Brumhana Vasthi (5 -25 Days):-

Vasthi is known as “Medicated Enema”. Vasthi is a therapeutic procedure

Urovasthi (7 Days):-
In this process specially prepared warm medicated oil is kept on the chest

Sirovasthi (7 - 14 Days):-
Special lukewarm herbal oils are poured into a cap, which is fitted on the head, and held for 30 to 60 minutes per day, according to the patient’s conditions.

Kativasthi (7 Days):-
In this process specially prepared warm medicated oil is kept on the lower back within a herbal paste boundary for 30 to 45 minutes.

Abhyangam (14 - 21 Days):-
This is a special oil massage in which strokes are given according to the circulatory channels for 45 minutes per day, for a number of days, according to the disease.

Udvarthanam (14 -28 Days):-
This treatment is a typical powder massage. In this procedure certain special herbal powders are applied to the body, by two therapists, in a particular way for about 30 to 45 minutes daily.

Nasyam (7 - 21 Days):-
Nasyam is one of the most important procedures in Panchakarma. In this treatment herbal juices and medicated oils are applied through the nose.

Snehapanam (8 -12 Days):-
This word literally means oral intake of medicated oils or ghee preparations. This is done as a therapeutic procedure and as a preparatory procedure during the body purification therapy. Medicated ghee or oils are given internally, in proportionally increasing quantities, for a period of 8 to 12 days

Kizhi (7 -14 days)
Herbal leaves or powders are made into boluses, dipped into warm medicated oil and applied to the whole body, or a specified part, for 30 to 45 minutes daily.

Dhanyamla Dhara (14 Days):-
Warm herbal liquid is poured all over the body in a rhythmic way using a special vessel. This is done for 30 minutes to 1 hour daily.

Ksheeradhoomam (7 Days):-
This is a special procedure in which a mixture of medicinal decoctions and cow’s milk is heated and the steam thus liberated is passed through a tube and applied over the affected parts or whole body.
