Mangaon Taluka Education Society was established prior to the Independence of India with the major objective to

provide education to the students from local area. At present the Society is recognized as one of the best education

institute in the entire Konkan Region.

MTES's SCIENCE & COMMERCE COLLEGE and DOSHI VAKIL ARTS COLLEGE,GOREGAON- RAIGAD was established in the

year 1998 to explore higher education opportunities to the students from hilly region and

surrounding villages. It is matter of pride for us that the several students have completed their graduation in the last

decade and holding respectable position in the society, government sector and private sector at National and International Level.

Courses:
1) B. Sc. COURSE

First Year B. Sc. (Semester I and II)

Student is required to offer 3 science subjects of two units each and also one paper in Foundation Course.Each Unit of an experimental subject will carry one paper of sixty marks and one practical examination of 40 Marks. Each unit of Non-experimental subject will carry one paper of 100 Marks.

Second Year B. Sc. (Semester III and IV)

Student is required to offer 7 papers as under - Three papers from Two science subjects offered at F. Y. B. Sc. and Foundation Course-II.

Third Year B. Sc. (Semester V and VI)

The Student is required to select Chemistry as his/her Major subject. Each paper will carry 40 marks for Internal and 60 marks for external.

Each paper will carry 40 marks for Internal and 60 marks for external.
