Digras is a town and a municipal council in Yavatmal district in the state of Maharashtra, India.DemographicsIndia census, Digras had a population of 1,54,122. Digras is well connected to cities like Mumbai, Kalyan, Pune, Nashik, Malegaon, Pandharpur and other cities by MSRTC as well as private operated luxury buses. The internal roads in the city are always maintained in good state by the municipal corporation. Though the roads within the city are small, but the road condition is always good.TemplesMallikarjun MandirOn the bank of river Dhawanda which flows from Digras, there is ancient temple of lord "Shiva" famous as "Mallikarjun Mahadeo Sansthan". It provides the city digras a great place for organising auspicious ceremonies. Followers of the Brahmanand Swami gathers in the month of December on the occasion of his birth anniversary.The Utsav last for 7 days and ends with the 'Palakhi'(Procession).On the gate of the mandir two catechu are present.
