Our Family (Desai's) has firm roots in Ratnagiri for last ten generations. We were the landloards before but then the family business changed to mass scale mango plantation some 200 years ago. We have built reputation, name and trust not only in the local Market but also in nantional and international levels, through our hard work, dedication to quality and latest technology. Mr.Bhaurao Desai ventured into direct selling in marketplace rather than depending on the middlemen, His entrepreneurial spirit took him to Karachi at the age of 14. It was his insistence that led our business to concentrate solely on the world famous "Alphanso".
Since 1978 Mr.Hemant R Desai embarked a new venture under the name "M/S Pawas Canning" after recognizing the need and opportunity for mango products in market during the time of the year when mangoes are not available.We have continued to make sure that our mango products meet the same stringent quality expectations.
We started exporting our products since 1991 to countries like USA,Canada,Malaysia, Singapore and Dubai . Our major export is to Japan since 1995.
