This is ‘Jathere’ of Chhibba and Bassiyan castes.. Baba Goverdhan Dass was the first Babaji here. After that Baba Sukha ji, Baba Ram Sidhar ji and after that Baba Surinder Kumar Shinda ji, Baba Rajiv Kumar ji became the Babaji. The first President was Pt. Sagli Ram Jadla after that Babu Madan Mohan Chhibba Nawanshahr became the President.

Every year in the month of March, a fair and Bhandara is being held in the village. This programme is being organized with the joint efforts of both the Panchayat team of the village and the villagers. One more fair is being held on the 'Chode' of September in which Chhibbba & Bassi family & all the villagers contribute to a great extent.

In the seventh day of the June also a fair is held. So many people from here and there get together on the occasion of Baisakhi here to take bath in the holy lake. It is believed that by taking bath in this holy lake, one can get rid of any type of skin diseases. It is also believed that in anyone wishes here for anything, his/her wish gets fulfilled for sure.
