Model United Nations or MUN is a simulation of an actual UN conference . Participants represent delegates of different countries and debate upon the given agenda . There are different committees in and MUN , each having a different agenda .The purpose of the conference is to give a solution to the problem faced by a particular committee by passing a resolution that is in accordance with the UN charter . It's a great oppurtunity to learn more about a country and its different allies and its stand on various issues . There are special awards and verbal mentions for delegates who are exceptionally good in representing their countries and presenting their point of views in a eloquent manner.
