Christ Church Guwahati, the quaint little church in the midst of bustling Nehru Park and Cotton College has been in benign existence since 1844. The beginning of this church goes back to the arrival of the first chaplain in Assam, Revd. Robert Bland. Although a little obscured due to Nehru Park surrounding it, this Church has been present through the growth of Guwahati city for the last 168 years!
