Career CliniQ

Career CliniQ (established in 2009) is a national level Career Advisory body created with the aim to make ‘Career Information & Career Knowledge as a matter of RIGHT and not a privilege’. We consider that ‘Right to Education’ has got no meaning if it is not complemented with the Right to Career Information. With that as the objective, Career CliniQ serves the student community with 2 broad services –

(A) CAREER MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Career CliniQ provides counselling services to students on the whole gamut of career information that any student needs to know. Right from creating awareness on various career avenues (traditional & alternative) to providing information about how & where to pursue the chosen careers, Career CliniQ strives to increase the Career Quotient of students by encouraging a culture of career discussion (just as students discuss films, sports and music). The activities undertaken as part of career Counselling services include the following :

a) Career Motivation Talks/Workshops : to boost the confidence and morale of the students (especially those falling in the average & below average categories academically)

b) Career Library : a FREE for ALL library comprising of books on various competitive entrance examinations

c) Career Track Eduyearbook : an annual compendium of Education & Career Options available in this modern world (this book is recommended by the Education Dept of various states for their schools & colleges)

d) Scholarship Informations : of various state/public & private levels are disseminated so that the rightful candidates can be benefitted. For certain organizations, Career CliniQ also undertakes the responsibility of short-listing the appropriate/deserving candidates

e) Education News Awareness : on various issues and announcements made by apex bodies such as – UGC, AICTE, CBSE, NCERT, etc that is important and which students ought to know and be aware of.

f) Competitive Examinations News : is circulated as well as students are guided

g) Career Mela : education/career fairs highlighting different institutes and their courses

h) Rights of a Student Campaign : to make students aware of their consumer rights and thereby protect their interests from unscrupulous practices when they admit themselves in their state or outside


(B) CAREER DIAGNOSIS
The experienced Career Doctors of Career CliniQ helps students recognise their personality, interests & skills and thereby identify the CAREERS where they are most likely to excel. This is done through administration of Career Suitability Identification tools under the expert supervision of Career Doctors. This process helps identify the BEST CAREER FIT of the students. This unique tool has been nationally acclaimed and also recommended by the Education Departments of several states for their students. Fully functional Career Diagnosis Labs exists in several locations including Guwahati, Imphal, Delhi and Kolkata. This service is likely to end the age-old tradition of talking blind decisions regarding careers due to family pressures or peer choices.
