Unlike those days, the markets of Manipur are rapidly changing day by day. Yesterday was always remarkable and a milestone in the markets of Imphal. The changes though are volatile which need dedicated team on the work to analyze market demands and opportunities, thereby enhancing the business as well as delivering unique services to the community. Considering the facets of changes taking place in Manipur as and its surrounding states, the time is now to act, we might be rather late. Our vision, up to many generations to come demands us to be a pioneer in this business area. The service need is immense; demand is unpredictable while we are too energetic to beat any business situation. We therefore, has pledge to come up with this business to lead pioneer the market and serve our community to fill the service gaps prevailing in the market.

There has been huge change in the mindset of the people of Manipur. To consider this change, we have so many things that we are seeing as a standing example of these changes taking places. The changing lifestyle; increase in income that implies higher spending power unlike a decade ago give us the thought. Many people with better lifestyle are in search of good places to hang out. Alongside, most of the young generations are aware of the happenings around the globe and in the country, which will take decades to reach here in the City of Imphal. However, the search of a better place suitable to the present scenario is unending. People keep on exploring ways to get a better place to hang out or a day out. Youngsters are in search of a modest place to match their lifestyle. The upcoming sensitivity of patriotism in Manipur for want of being indigenous and protecting the ethnic society will give many opportunities in Business while the spending power increases day by day. Keeping this in view, the potentiality of border trade in Manipur and the uprising trend of corporatism, we are here to take the advantages before any other person takes the front seat. So, let’s pioneer with the spirit of a true entrepreneur.
Citing the entire viewpoint mentioned above, we therefore, had come up with an idea to establish a lifestyle food outlet which will focus on indigenous food items. It will be a specialty food outlet of our indigenous snack- Bora. Bora is a popular snack bite, eaten by most of the people of Manipur. The popularity of Bora snack is among all the demographics, be it a child or youngster, adult or senior citizen. The taste of Bora is unforgettable and taken by all the sections of the society. Moreover, socio-economic relationship is remarkable. There are many places like Nambol Keithel, Kakching Keithel, where the taste of Bora itself attracts many people from various parts of the state. People from all the sections of the society willingly go to these markets for the want of Bora. Why? Because that is a market known for Bora and itself makes the taste unique. People ignore the ambience of the Bora hotel, how they are prepared or presented. The ambience is ignored just for the want of it. However, things are changing in these markets and new demands are coming up. People are looking for a modest place, hygienic preparation & presentation and a good ambience to spend time with Bora. In short, a lifestyle outlet is demanded which is not fulfilled as of now. Researching the markets in the city of Imphal, there is not even a single food outlet focusing on indigenous cuisine and we are not talking about the traditional “Chak Hotel”. So, our motive is just not only to derive business but also to develop our indigenous food items at a level acceptable to the evolving lifestyle of the Manipuri society. Apart of it, we do not have any modest food outlet to let the visitors experience our indigenous food items. And this is the root of our project “The Cafe YaiLeima” with determinations “To develop and protect indigenous food items from extinction & ignorance, delivering lifestyle experience and to cater the demands of dynamic market thereby contributing to the society in socio-economic development”.

Product & Services
Project “The Cafe YaiLeima” has been designed to deliver lifestyle services to consumers. We would be focusing on indigenous food items besides beverages. Beverages would include non-alcoholic mocktails, tea & coffee etc. items to cater the interest of the consumers. As per our objective, “The Cafe YaiLeima” would focus on various items of Bora, which would be enlightened by various other items that would mesmerize the ethnicity of our society. Apart from these, we would be providing wi-fi internet connectivity on various cost models as per the situation demand. Also, weekend unplugged live music would also be organized to give additional feel of the outlet apart from being a marketing activity. We thus have desire to build a strong brand over the years to make it the best in its segment. We also plan to establish a chain of such outlet after successful trial runs in years to come.
