MMA-Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts.

AIMMAA is the only association to receive permission from the highest authority of Sports in India to conduct amateur and pro mma events nationwide.

Mixed Martial Arts Association of Assam very shortly going to organize a MMA Championship (National/ International Level) at Silchar, Cachar, Assam. The Fighters/Participants are requested to participate in the Championship along with their Trainer/Delegates. No separate Trainer will be provided for the Fighters/ Participants from the organizing committee. All the Fighters/Participants will get their benefit as per Rules of the Boards and detailed of benefits are as follows.

Board members are decided to organize the MMA Championship (National/ International Level) at Assam Rifles Ground, Silchar. To organize smooth & peaceful competition, District Administration will be invited for security measures. The Local Media, N.E. Channel should be involved in the competition so that the people may aware about the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Medical Team and Fire Brigade are also involved for Emergency purpose. Competition will be organized with the different entry fees for the peoples. Time schedule of the competition decided from 17.00 Hours to 21.00 Hours. Audience will be controlled by many volunteers and crew members as decided by the organizing committee. Car parking will be provided nearby Assam Rifles Ground Area, Silchar.
