British Laundry

British Laundry is a start up by two brothers, Manas and Yashaswi Priyadarshi. While Manas is an entrepreneur himself, already running two companies successfully, Yash (as we fondly call him) is an MBA from Narsee Monjee institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai and was working with Barclays bank as an investment banker in London. It all started when Yash recently visited India and had to get his clothes washed.
Much to his surprise, all the available launderers were charging exorbitant amount of money and when he approached traditional Dhobis, the quality of detergents used, not to mention the turbid water, and unhygienic environment of this particular “Dhobi Ghat ” , left him disappointed.
He just couldn’t hand over his clothes.

It was then, the brothers shaped the idea of British Laundry, to let not our customers worry about hygienic wash, fabric friendly ironing or the hassles of drop and pick. It all gets better when you don’t have to pay anything extra.
