Brahmapuri- (Marathi: ब्रम्हपूरी) is a city and a municipal council in Chandrapur district in the state of Maharashtra, India.
Geography- Brahmapuri is located at 20.36°N 79.51°E. It has an average elevation of 229.5 metres (753 feet).

Demographics- According to 2001 Indian census, Brahmapuri had a population of 31,200. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. History In 1854, when Chandrapur was formed as an independent district, it included Bramhapuri as a tehsil in 1874. Afterwards a new tehsil with headquarters at Gadchiroli was created in 1905 by transfer of zamindari estates from Brahmapuri and Chandrapur tehsil.
