BOFTA

Blue Ocean Film & Television Academy (BOFTA) is managed and run by the Masters of these fields to teach and train the students in various skills to directly enter the film and television industries. BOFTA will be offering 9 courses to begin with and all of them for a duration of 12 months, leading to a Diploma. The courses begin on 1st July 2015 at Chennai in a world-class campus with modern equipment.

The faculty for each of the 9 courses are going to be the Masters taking classes every day (not as a guest lecture but as a regular faculty of the academy) and will take the students through practical knowledge on film and TV industry. They will be supported by Anchors for each course, who are also masters in their field to prepare the students on theory aspects.

The courses are going to be held from 9.30 to 4.30 p.m and will be from Monday to Friday with Saturdays reserved for outdoor workshops and research.

The course fee and other details will be can be obtained directly from the Academy. The formal launch of the Academy is on 4th March 2015.
